Instagram Jam: February

Instagram Jam is Back! Here’s what is going on thru my iPhone lens!  This week is the February #InstaSLP party! If you’re on Instagram you just take a photo each day and tag it with #InstaSLP.  I found this on TpT and my kids loved it.  I finally got around to posting about how I’m winning over those difficult middle schoolers! Speech Tube is our solution.  I’m working on a review of the new CAAP-2 app. Stay tuned this week for that.  Social Thinking Valentine’s Day Cards I used this free curling app! Yay Olympics!  Coffee is the only way to make it through the day!  My February lesson plans have been downloaded a few thousand times!  Super Duper had a crazy 85% off sale and I picked up a few photo lotto games. They are great for Life Skills classes.  I went to add speech to my guy’s schedule and he had made his own plans for the day. Can’t blame him.  One of my guys using Proloquo2Go  called me out from across the room. I love the tobasco as ‘trouble’. (No, I didn’t program that one.) A little bit of my ‘process’ on a snow day! We’ve had 7!  Trying to find the happiness is snowy weather :)  A little TpT newsletter lovin’.  Worry Wall is up and we’re adding bricks as we go!  I’m so sad the Broncos got stomped. It wasn’t a very fun game to watch, but the snacks were good!  OK! That’s a wrap! Are you on Instagram? Follow me @SpeechRoomNews!

This is such an adorable post! I love February in classrooms, because everything is decorated in fun colors, and I have the excuse to spend hours cutting and glittering hearts to plaster on the walls. I love being able to find cute work sheets that have to do with February, but at the same time allow teaching opportunities, like counting out candy hearts, or coloring pictures of their favorite material item that they love the most. I love that when we break out the art projects, they start to talk about all the different things that they love. I learn so much more about them when they get to spend time being creative!
