It’s your last week before winter break! Do you have lesson plans? My preschoolers and I are trimming the tree with speech and language items this week!
The first tree we created was a /s/ tree. I filled it with mostly /s/ blends.
The kids were able to target articulation, positional concepts, size concepts, sentence formation, social skills and so much more.
The hit of the activity was our special speech sound ornaments. Instead of regular ornaments or pictures I gathered miniture items and included them inside clear ornaments.
Ready to make your own tree? Start with a mini tree (mine cost $3 at Hobby Lobby). Add clear ornament bulbs. Pair those with the mini objects in the Primary Concepts Sounds Box.
Have a wonderful last week with your students. Break will be here before we know it!
