In our summer literacy group we are working hard on memorizing our letters.
During camping week, we made a ‘tent’ with a sheet. It was the perfect place to break open some glow sticks and practice those letters in the dark!!
The packets I grabbed from Target dollar spot included bracelets and necklaces so we got to have both long and short glow sticks.
The glowing added something fun and new to the repetition of letters!
Once we were done with the letters we used the sticks to help up tap our the number of syllables.
