February is such a busy month! In my speech room we will discuss Black History Month, The Super Bowl, Groundhog Day, and Valentine’s Day! Today I wanted to share a few options for Black History Month in your speech room.
I have many students in grades 3-8th grade working on listening and reading comprehension as well as vocabulary. I made 24 different comprehension pages about 12 different historical figures.
Each passage has one vocabulary word highlighted. That word in then on vocabulary cards to be used for practice or sorting activities.
Each passage has comprehension questions. The questions are on a single page and can be used by the SLP or the student. It’s a great activity to incorporate important history information with your speech therapy instruction.
I also created a Black History Freebie.
Make sure you leave feedback for the freebie if you download it!
