Fluency Sentences

The best thing about the new website is that is forcing me to clean out my ‘junk drawers’ so to speak! I found this half written post in my ‘drafts’ pile! I use this idea a lot!

I’m popping in for a quick and easy fluency tip. For my preschool fluency clients, I make a lot of visuals. When we read, “There was an Old Lady Who Swallowed some Leaves“, I made a sentence strip.

I placed the ‘easy breath’ sign I made in front of the sentence strip. This was perfect supporting her fluency is structured sentences. How do you work on fluency with your preschoolers?
