There is this reoccurring nightmare I have, where I’m at school and I missed a kid that should have been on my caseload all year. I think it is the SLP equivalent of the “showing up naked” to work nightmare. With years of experience, my anxiety at work has decreased. I have the tools and experience to deal with most scenarios. It hasn’t always been like this. My clinical fellowship year was a real struggle. I had the BEST CF supervisor but I still always sort of felt like I was just fumbling along.
