As part of our ‘All About Me’ curriculum we’ve been spending a lot of time learning about emotions. I thought I’d share some resources today that have been hanging out in my rolling cart!

The Way I Feel by Janin Cain is a great book about lots of different feelings. You can grab the book on Amazon.

I used  board maker pieces to adapt the book. You can find those on Boardmaker Share here for free as along as you have Boardmaker.

  • Love your website and products in the TPT store!!! Slowly purchasing all the interactive books because my students love them!
You have referred to your preschool curriculum several times lately. Does your preschool use a published curriculum? If so, which one?

    • Thanks Rebecca! Actually it’s not a published curriculum. They wrote their own curriculum based on the standards in our state.

  • Is there any way to get the boardmaker pictures as a pdf? My company has not/ does nit want to pay for boardmaker.

    Thanks!

    • Sorry I can’t! Boardmaker copyright terms of use indicate their products can be used in paid products (less than 50 symbols). You can not include their symbols in free products unless you host them as a board maker file on their website boardmakershare.com

  • Hi Jenna,
We love talking about emotions!! Especially around Halloween and Valentine’s Day. We’re feeling happy because you shared our “Five Little Pumpkins” flashcards. 🙂
Have you seen our new “Can You Make A Happy Face?” video? It’s another fun one for basic emotions: happy, angry, scared, and sleepy. http://youtu.be/x8b4f5fhYuw Plus it has cute Halloween characters.
    Best,
