I’m certain that 90% of you know that ASHA is giving away free CEUs this summer and fall. If you are plugged-in at all on social media, SLPs were celebrating big-time a few weeks ago. I wanted to share the link on the blog just in case you heard it and then never signed up!
The ASHA Store is offering one free CEU course per month. Each course will be free only for that month. You need to login each month and complete the course. The courses are available in the ASHA Store.
The July course is .05 CEUs about AAC assessment, written by Patricia Ourand, MS, CCC-SLP.
The learning targets include:
- Identify the salient sections of an AAC assessment
- Discuss the need for including a variety of technologies in the AAC assessment
- Recommend appropriate equipment based on individual AAC needs
