You asked and I listened! I got such wonderful feedback about my first set of vocabulary books with the ‘Back to School’ themes! I have a TON of plans about types of books to make (concepts, questions, pronouns, etc.) but for now I’m trying to catch up and get ahead of the seasonal vocabulary for the upcoming months!

My store now has a full set of Interactive Vocabulary Books for the ‘All About Me’ theme. Our preschool is focusing on this theme for 3 full weeks so I will use these books so much during the next couple weeks! There are four different books included.

As soon as we wrap up our All About Me units, we’ll focus on Fall vocabulary. I’ve got 3 different interactive books for that theme.  One book is focused on common nouns. Fall Actions features pronouns and action words. The All About Apples book is a great way to dig deeper with some richer vocabulary specific to apples!

If you’re new to these packets let me give you some more details! The book has a full size base. On the right side you will place 12 picture icons connected by velcro. You can add the half-sheets on the left side of the sheets. As you read each page, your student will attach the appropriate icon.

Find the Fall Books Here and the All About Me Books Here.

I’ve already started the next unit which will be perfect for October including some life cycle information and spooky vocab. I can’t wait to share that with you!

Don’t hesitate to leave me a message if there is a topic you’d love to see included in future interactive books.

  • I just purchased your back to school interactive book. It looks great and I can’t wait to use it tomorrow. One question though, chalk? Does anyone use or even have chalk anymore. Just wondering….

    • I use chalk all the time! I have small chalk board that the kids use. I am guessing you don’t have chalk at your school, but I still think it’s a vocabulary word children need to learn. Thanks for your purchase.

  • Jenna, I am so excited about these materials! I just purchased all four sets, and can tell you I am ready to use them! I know you receive compensation for these, but I strongly suspect your time and effort put in to each of these books is enormous! 🙂 Again, THANK YOU!!!

  • I am a retired speech-language pathologist who isn’t really retired. I do long-term subs for SLPs. I have a lot of FMD students and just purchased the All About Me interactive series. They are laminated, velcro added and ready to go . I can’t wait to use them. The SLP I am subbing for now has the Build A Snowman Interactive but I have not been able to locate it on your site to purchase.

  • Do you have a way or any tips for making your interactive notebooks “no print”? I would love to use them on the smart board or an iPad (google docs maybe?) for whole group instruction and then use the books for small group or individual centers. Great product!
