Ice Cream Conditional Directions

Can it already be the middle of June?! Hopefully you are using this time for some relaxation! I am spending a lot of time relaxing, but spent some time this week to make you a new download!  This game provides a fun way to practice following conditional directions. Students draw a card that gives a direction. If they complete the action correctly, they keep their card on the truck.  If they draw a sun card, they must give all their snacks back! The conditional directions included are all one step. I’ve also included blank cards so that you can customize it! ENJOY! Grab the Freebie over at my TPT Store!

  • Thank you for sharing! I’m not speech certified, but I love doing things like this with my kids who need to work on social skills and following directions. You can only use the same deck of cards so many times with the same kid, so lots of different activities are great. Thank you:-D

  • just downloaded this and since it is going to be 90 degrees in LA today it will be perfect! I laminate the cards and have kids draw them out of a bag. Instead of using the cute truck for each kid I’ll give them a tally point for each correct answer. Knowing my kiddos they will play with the ice cream cards and pretend to eat them 😉

  • I was just going through your freebies and had to say that this is my speech kid’s favorite following directions activity out of all of the ones I have! I have a little rhyme I sing when they get a sun card; “Sun melts your snack- I take one back!” Also, I cut out the ice cream truck and they get to “deliver” the ice cream to the kids when they get X amount of cards. So fun. Thanks for sharing this! -Lacey @ LikePlayingHouse.com
