If you’re looking for a gift for the Speech Language Pathologist in your life today’s post is for you! For your child’s SLP, CF supervisor, best friend, wife, sister, mentor, co-worker, or boss, I hope you’ll be able to find something your favorite SLP. Now most of us love gifts for us (read: shoes, jewelry, technology) and not for work, but sometimes you might just want or need a gift that is for the ‘speechy’ side of your loved one! These are all things I have, have gotten, or have on MY list! Here are some of my all time favorite things: (Amazon affiliate links included). If you’re SLP is like me, she’s an APP junky! If you grab an iTunes gift card she can use it for personal or work! Bonus: If you can purchase it at Kroger or Giant Eagle you earn Fuel Points! If you read this blog, you’ve already heard of Teachers Pay Teachers. Why not pass along the knowledge about this fabulous resource! A TpT gift card would be perfect! This year I am in a new district and have a ‘mentor’ to hep me with all the first year in a new job ‘things’. I saw these SLP Sticky Notes Collection and ordered a set for my mentor! She’s been so helpful! And since they are so awesome I ordered myself some! So many teachers have complemented me! When you have to give a teacher another checklist to fill out, this is one way to get their attention! Does your SLP have a Pandora bracelet? How about a cute little mouth charm! This Sterling Silver Lip Charm would be perfect! I use my school laminator when I can, but I also use this Scotch Thermal Laminator almost every week too! It’s lasted over 6 years for me! I use the same brand Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches because they are really thick. I wear my badge every day at work. Most hospitals or schools require it so getting a nice Lanyard Id Badge Holder is a great gift idea! Advance Web has some cute gifts for SLPs and OT including Christmas Ornaments. I think these two are the cutest ones! CAFFEINE! No other information required: And how about a adorable mug to go with that coffee gift card?! If you’re fav SLP works with kids, books are a must! We use them for so many goals. Give your SLP a book and write a note with it! Here are a few of my favorite: Gift Cards! Is there an educational store in your town? That would make a GREAT gift! If not, try an Amazon gift card. We SLP usually all spend some cash at the big name companies like Super Duper and Linguisystems. The last item on my list is one I carry every day! My giant Vera Bradley Get Carried Away Tote. With tons of zippers and super durability, I LOVE it. Since SLPs tend to have so much ‘stuff’ organization is important! I love these cable clips from the container store. For an iPad charger or for use at home, they are fun and functional! They also have this cute and functional cord fish! So that’s it! If you’re buying for the SLP in your life I hope this helps! Happy Holidays!

I get my laminating pouches from Lakeside Collections. There is a pack of 100 (three different sizes included) for $4.95. It is the thicker stuff.

How about a TpT gift card?? 🙂 : )

Sam’s Club has those laminating sheets: 200 for about $20!!! Also, the cardstock paper (so that you can’t see through) is 250 sheets for around $20. It’s the main reason I keep my Sam’s Club membership. 🙂

Great idea to do this list! It really helped me shop for my dear SLP. Great Sam’s Club tip in the comments, too!

Love this list. I was thinking of getting the SLPs in my district some card stock. But adding a TPT card would be a great touch!

I just did a post on 8 other ideas for SLP gifts, too, and provided a link to this post and Sublime Speech’s post at the end of mine! Love these ideas, especially the Starbucks gift card 🙂 And while I don’t really need any more coffee mugs.. that SLP one sure is cute! Great ideas here!
