Today’s guest post is an app tutorial from Sarah Scharnick, an ipad using SLP! Sarah is using an app in order to figure out the 60 day timelines for evalutations! Thanks for this information Sarah.
Easybee Timeline Calculator
This is an awesome app that will help you save time when calculating your 60 days. Who wants to count the days…especially when there are vacations involved! It’s well worth the 0.99. It’s a little tricky to figure out at first and the set up takes a bit of time, but once you’ve done it once, you don’t have to do it until the next school year.
Step 1: Download the app: Easybee Timeline Calculator. Open the app.
Step 2: Click on the settings button in the top left corner.
Step 3: Make sure that “Business Days” is highlighted and click on “Manage Business Days”
Step 4: Unmark all of the bubbles. When you open it up the page the bubbles will be red. Touch each bubble to unmark them. This is so that those days aren’t excluded when it is figuring out your 60 days. Also make sure to clear the Excludes Weekends button, as we count weekends in our 60 days. Then click on the plus sign in the top right corner.
Step 5: Scroll through the dates until you reach the month, day and year that you want to add.
Step 6: Add a name for the vacation day and click Save. I put WB for Winter Break and SB for Spring Break. Continue for all dates of the specific vacation or time that you do not want the days counted.
Step 7: Make sure that all of the dates that you don’t want counted are bubbled in. Click Settings and then click Doneon the next screen.
Step 8: Select the start date, the timelinethat you want to figure out and your due date will show at the bottom!
