Chocolate Chip Ghost is a sweet little circle time story that has been told in preschool rooms for years. Ghosts have to eat all white foods so they can stay white. One day, while mama ghost runs out to get more milk, rice, and cauliflower, the ghosts eat all sorts of foods. When mama returns they have turned into all sorts of colors! It’s a great retell for early language skills and circle time.
This year, I found a book version on Amazon. Here’s my affiliate link: http://amzn.to/2diSfRI. I’ve heard that the price went up recently, but you don’t really need the book to utilize the story. Here’s a copy of a the story retold on YouTube. You can watch the story and learn it to use with your students!
The packet includes companion finger puppets for doing the story retell.
There are also 4 sets of file folder games.
These include picture to picture matching, ghost to food matching, feed the ghost, and a game board.
Make sure you save this pin on you Halloween Pinterest board!
