I usually spend a good chunk of time writing for Speech Room News on Sundays. I write once a week and then post them throughout the week. Except these days I’ve been spending time curled up watching dozens of Christmas movies, wrapping presents, working on secret craft projects, and filling up my ‘sleigh’. Since I have nothing speechie to post, I thought I’d share some of my Instagram pics, plus others from my phone 🙂 I found this little gem in my mom’s Christmas stuff. Wasn’t I a cutie? Did you know I used to live on a Christmas Tree Farm? We grew and trimmed pine trees and then families came and cut them during December! Another find from my mom’s basement. Some of my friends at the fire at the tree farm. The last find from Becky’s basement! I got some great Christmas gifts for the people I love. And I bought this present for myself! Woops! We had a snow day! So I laid on my couch for a Christmas movie marathon. Said snow, from the snow day. Santa was busy wrapping. Winter Sundays look like this: redbox, lasagna soup in the crockpot, and my Christmas tree! Yes, it’s pink. It has my Barbie ornaments from when I was little. My reindeer was rooting for the Buckeyes. Let’s not talk about how that one ended 🙁 Merry Christmas!

How cool is it that you used to live on a Christmas Tree Farm??? We have friends who are going into the “biz”…their retirement plan!

So fun! It was my parent’s ‘college fund’ plan for us! But it’s a TON of work, so when they retired they sold the farm too!
