The holiday season is heading our way and I’ve been browsing for gifts for my friends and family. I decided to update my shopping lists for SLPs and made an additional one just for “her” based on my purchases this year. I scrolled back through my Amazon links and other purchases and picked my favorites! Amazon affiliate links are included where applicable so you can click straight to shopping! First up, things for your SLP if you’d like to get her something to use at work!
Sensory Bin Tote: This is my favorite sized container to make sensory bins!
Velcro Dots: Once you get dots, you’ll never want strips again!
Flair Pens: My second favorite pen! All educators love a good flair pen!
Blue Light Glasses: I ordered two pairs of these! I keep one at work and one for home. They help reduce the headaches from long days on the computer.
Ghost Boy: I love this book! It’s a great read for anyone working within the field of speech-language pathology.
Educated by Tara Westover: Speaking of books, this was my favorite read of 2019.
Magnet hooks: I’m obsessed with this set! I hang frequently used stuff on the side of my file cabinet and on a magnetic hallway!
Wobble Cushions: I use this wobble cushion with lots of friends who need extra sensory input!
Game Bands: Hold together your game sets! No more opening your trunk to find all the pieces of Candy Land spread all over!
Friends Themed SLP Shirt: I love this design from Peachie Speechie!
Rolling Cart: I got this new cart this year from Target! I love it!
Sound Wave Keychain: Have your child recorded saying “thank you” or “I Love you” and save it in sound wave form on this keychain! Your inner speech scientists will be rocking!
Office Art: There are lots of fun ideas for an SLP office but I love this instant download from Etsy! Just add a frame and it’s a great gift!
Up next, my list “for her”. It could be your own stocking, your mom’s, secret Santa, or your friend!
Stainless Straws: Use these on the daily!
Daily Water Cup: I love the size of this water cup. We have a few!
Metal Shelf: Last year I bought a plant shelf like this at a local store. Then found a similar one on Amazon for half the price! This Christmas, I have it filled with vintage ornaments. The rest of the year, it holds my plants!
Succulent Food : I consider myself a green thumb wanna-be. This would be a great stocking stuffer or gift paired with a succulent! This stuff makes me look like a legit gardener!
Jewelry Cleaner: I love this little stick! It makes my rings so shiny! Great stocking stuffer.
Bamboo Sheets are where it’s at! We have this set and love them!
Air Pods: I’m hoping Santa brings me a pair of bluetooth AirPods this year!
Pregnancy Journal: If you or yours happen to be pregnant this holiday, I’m loving this pregnancy journal!
Toxin Free Nail Polish: If you’re into reducing your toxin exposure, this set is free from most of the big bad wolves!
Where the Crawdads Sing: My other favorite book this year!
Brow magic! Been using this and love how it makes me look a little more pulled together than just a swipe of mascara without the fuss of full brows!
Exploding Kittens: This game is SO much fun. Great for game night, it doesn’t take much to teach a new group even if they’ve had a beverage or two!
Countertop Cleaner: I love the smell of this stuff! I use it when I want my kitchen to smell amazing!
Coloring Bible: I bought this last year and love it!
